Mrs. Brazee

Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Brazee

About Me:  The most important things to me is my family and going on adventures.  I have lived in North Carolina the majority of my life and hope to one day visit every state in the United States. I live in Kannapolis and enjoy seeing my school family live and react in the community I live in.

Colleges Attended/Degrees Earned: I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education.  During my time at UNCW, I studied abroad at Perth University in Australia in the area of Indigenous Studies. I have teaching certificates in the following areas:
*Special Education Licensure, 2006 – present
      *Elementary Education K-6 Licensure, 2006 – present
*English as a Second Language Licensure, 2012 – present

Educational Philosophy:  Everyone can learn and achieve success.  Every child has the right to an education both socially, emotionally, and academically.  It is my job to reach students where they are, work with parents to determine their needs, and facilitate a positive attitude for learning with the students to achieve their best.  I have been formed by every student that I have encountered and look forward to sharing that knowledge.

Math: Volume: This is an extension from multiplication
Science: Body Systems and how they work together.  We will soon begin studying genetics.
Social Studies: Native Americans
